Alana Anderson M.S.

Postdoctoral Research Associate

Alana Anderson is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Laboratory for Child Brain Development. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Music from Saint Olaf College in 2012 and her M.S. from Washington State University in Prevention Science in 2019. She expects to complete her PhD in Prevention Science from Washington State University in May 2022. Alana’s research examines the general processes involved in self-regulation across the lifespan with a particular focus on infancy and early childhood. She uses a wide variety of methods (e.g., EEG, behavioral, interview) to uncover the developmental pathways that influence the emergence of risk behaviors and mental health problems.
